Mindshare man to lead Rapp SEO

Nik GohilRapp Media is strengthening its digital capabilities with the appointment of its first head of search engine optimisation, Nik Gohil, who joins from Mindshare.
Gohil will be responsible for delivering strategic leadership in all elements of SEO to maximise the effectiveness of consumer engagement.
The idea is to ensure a seamless strategic integration from website design through to content and search engine marketing.
Nik joins from Mindshare where he was the director of SEO; prior to that he was at Razorfish. His appointment follows that of Sharon Braude, who joined as head of digital at Rapp Media at the end of last year.
Braude said: “Nik has extremely strong credentials in SEO across a number of high profile clients, such as Unilever and Asda. He possesses the ideal combination of technical expertise with the ability to think strategically to solve business problems.”
Rapp Media managing director Ian Maynard added: “Nik is joining us at a pivotal time as we start to further extend our SEO remit. It’s important that we have strong leadership and experience from strategy right through social and measurement. Nik is certainly the right person to lead these crucial areas of our growing business and we are delighted to have him on board.”
