Digital advertising platform Ozone has signed up Newsweek to its existing publisher network, which reaches 17.4 million individuals daily, according to the latest data.
Forged through an historic collaboration between four of the UK’s biggest publishers – News UK, The Guardian, The Telegraph and Reach in 2018 – it is claimed that Ozone offers a transparent and efficient solution for brands seeking to connect with scaled, engaged audiences across the premium web by way of its consolidated premium publisher inventory and data.
Through Newsweek’s audiences, advertisers can attract the likes of policy makers, C-suite executives, enterprise businesses, and other professionals.
Newsweek’s expertise across six key verticals – health, finance, workplaces, sustainability, cities and mobility – enhances the reach of Ozone’s existing publisher network, further strengthening its commitment to trusted and brand-safe environments, the platform insists.
The agreement is the latest in a long line of deals, which in 2024 alone saw Mediahuis Ireland, Netmums, and the UK audiences of global publisher Dow Jones – specifically The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s and MarketWatch – join the alliance. It also includes Mail Metro Media, Pink News, Our Media.
In November, Ozone also collaborated with Ipsos iris to validate its audiences.
Ozone publisher development director Dipti Patel said: “We are delighted to be introducing Newsweek’s hugely valuable audiences into our platform, bolstering our scaled reach of the country’s most influential consumers.
“As one of the most recognised publishing brands in the world, Newsweek is a great example of the types of online destination site that allows Ozone campaigns to deliver so well for advertisers. We’re excited to complement Newsweek’s direct sales offering with the impact of our audience platform.”
Newsweek executive vice-president Amit Shah added: “Working with Ozone brings Newsweek’s influential and engaged audiences to their premium platform. At Newsweek, we pride ourselves on delivering trusted journalism that resonates with decision-makers and leaders across industries.
“Ozone allows us to expand our reach and provide advertisers with even greater opportunities to connect with our high-value readers in a privacy-first, impactful way.”
