Specialist publisher of BBC titles joins Ozone platform

Our MediaUK digital ad platform Ozone has signed a deal with Our Media – publisher of specialist titles BBC Countryfile, BBC Wildlife, BBC Music and BBC Science Focus, as well as a raft of othersto join the company’s audience-led media offering.

Our Media has a 30-year heritage of publishing craft, cycling, science and nature, homes and music titles, which now span print, video and online. Across its portfolio of online titles, the company reaches 2.3 million readers every month.

As a result of this new partnership, Our Media’s titles will now be available as part of Ozone’s audience platform, offering advertisers a complementary way to work across premium publishers, and reach audiences at scale in quality online environments.

In addition, Our Media will work with Ozone’s biddable management service, a scheme which it is claimed allows publishers to manage programmatic overheads more effectively, maximise their revenues, and ultimately improve readers’ online experience.

This partnership is the latest in a long line of Ozone’s publisher signings that have seen Mail Metro Media, Pink News, Asian Media Group and Autovia join the alliance.

Ozone business development director Dipti Patel said: “The deep levels of engagement these special interest titles have with readers makes them a hugely valuable addition to our alliance. In addition, extending the partnership to our biddable management service means we can bring Ozone’s expertise – across publishers of all sizes and guises – across Our Media’s entire programmatic offering.”

Our Media chief executive Andy Marshall said: “We looked at a number of options for the placing of our programmatic and audience digital ad sales, but the combination of scale, experience in onboarding different types of publisher and the strength of the team at Ozone made the choice in the end a straightforward one. We very much look forward to building our partnership with Ozone in the coming months and years.”
