VCCP’s customer experience arm VCCP CX has made two senior hires, bringing in a technology chief and a new business director to strengthen the agency’s experience, design and engineering offering.
Head of technology James Lamprecht brings more than 20 years of senior technology leadership experience, working across a wide range of clients in travel, automotive, FMCG, luxury brands, financial services, telecommunications and utility.
Most recently, he was director of technology at Publicis Sapient, where he spearheaded the tech and consulting team on a global automotive client. Previous posts include director of technology and delivery at ORM, and director of technology and operations at AKQA.
At VCCP CX, Lamprecht will be responsible for leading a team of technologists to bring innovative and engaging digital experiences to life for CX clients.
Meanwhile, new business director Ellen Thatcher joins with more than 10 years’ experience as a growth and business development specialist working in top tier agency and consulting firms.
Most recently she led UK&I growth at WhatIf Innovation, part of Accenture’s global innovation and design practice. Prior to that she held roles at sister Accenture agency Happen, Clear M&C Saatchi and Rainmaker Consulting.
In her new role, Thatcher will focus on bringing new brands to the CX portfolio, while delivering fresh growth for clients in innovation, insight and brand strategy. She will also be responsible for raising external awareness of the CX specialism, while bringing in new clients, and fostering existing relationships.
Reporting to VCCP CX chief executive Scott Ewings, the duo have been tasked with delivering VCCP CX’s ‘dynamic brand experiences’ to the market, to drive further integration across the rest of the VCCP Partnership and enable existing clients to tap into CX.
