The move is said to have been on the cards even before the ink had dried on Omnicom’s $13.5bn acquisition of Interpublic, and is designed to bring together two organisations with complementary capabilities, cultures and geographic strengths.
Hearts United aims to help brands navigate a media environment where influence moves continuously across platforms, creators, communities, commerce, and AI.
The new agency launches on the back of sustained growth at both organisations. Between 2021 and 2025, Omnicom-owned Hearts & Science increased its billings by 50%, while Interpublic-owned Mediahub grew 33%; momentum that it is claimed has continued into 2026.
As result, the agency ranks as number one in the US year to date with $294m in total new business (wins minus losses, including retentions); and third globally and in EMEA with $567m and $242m, respectively, outperforming agencies that are up to three times its size.
Like its sister Omnicom Media agencies OMD, Initiative, PHD and UM, Hearts United will tap into the assets of one of the world’s largest global media networks in scale, data and technology, identity, commerce capabilities, and talent.
Omnicom Media CEO Florian Adamski said: “Hearts & Science helped pioneer data-driven decision-making, while Mediahub broke new ground by proving media could serve as a creative platform.
“In bringing them together as Hearts United, we have created a new globally scaled network built from complementary strengths, approaches and footprints, and grounded in the shared principle of putting client growth at the heart of every decision.”
The network will be led in EMEA by Ross Jenkins (pictured), who previously headed up Mediahub across the region. During his tenure as EMEA CEO, Jenkins expanded Mediahub’s footprint into new markets, accelerated its growth, and attracted major international clients. He has also built cross-market teams around an entrepreneurial culture, a model that will carry into the new Hearts United EMEA organisation.
He said: “With Hearts United we’re building the kind of agency we believe clients increasingly need to connect with people in motion across an AI-mediated world – one that discovers what others overlook, that finds the truths hidden in behaviour, and that dares to find an original way in, with media as the creative platform.
“It is an agency where curious people are encouraged to challenge convention, experiment and solve problems creatively, and where ambitious clients come to find undiscovered and unexpected answers.”
