Rapp ships in senior creative team

Rapp-duoRapp is continuing its creative recruitment drive by hiring six new staff, including senior team Rich Donovan and Jon Leney, who return to the agency after four years at Partners Andrews Aldridge.
Donovan and Leney (pictured) rejoin Rapp as creative directors, and will work primarily on the agency’s Virgin Media account. They had previously been group heads at Rapp before defecting to Partners in 2009.
It is understood that Rapp executive creative director Jason Andrews had been trying to lure the pair for the past eight months.
Rapp has also hired two creative teams. Dennie de Wever and Sophia Rabl join from JWT, while Mat Prime and Matt Daymond join from Elvis.
In June, Rapp made a double promotion and four new hires, as well as appointing its first innovation chief , Marcus Kirsch, the former Leo Burnett digital and user experience specialist.
Associate creative director Jacob Kirk and Clare Wilson shifted up to creative directors, while there were new associate creative directors hired and a new creative team.
All creatives report direct to Andrews, who joined in last year. He reports into Rapp chief creative officer Rik Haslam.
