Colm O’Hara, who set up the database solutions team at Communisis – working with clients such as Ageas, Viking Direct and Speedy Hire – will now head up the account management and data product teams at the REaD Group.
He brings over 20 years’ industry experience, having started his career at CACI in the early Nineties. He then had spells at Harte-Hanks, Equifax, EuroDirect and Occam before joining Communisis in December 2010 as a senior database consultant.
Cano-Lopez said: “Having worked with Colm previously, I am looking forward to re-establishing our productive working relationship. I know that his appointment only enhances my desire to create the best team in the industry.
“Over the years, Colm has honed a strategic approach to the application and analysis of customer data which will add real business value and delivery for our clients.”
O’Hara added: “REaD Group’s heritage in creating ground-breaking data solutions that are delivered by industry-leading teams gives it a solid and robust foundation for development and growth over the coming years.”
O’Hara is the latest in a raft of new appointments at the REaD Group, which kicked off with hiring of Cano-Lopez in May last year; they include sales director Clive Rumsey, who also joined from Communisis, managing director of REaD Group Insight Scott Logie, and chief market strategist and former Callcredit boss Mike Green.
