Havas EHS has recruited TMW group business director Liz Tang to the role of client services director, succeeding Andy Buist, who has been promoted to a global role within the agency.
At TMW, Tang (pictured, far right) was responsible for the agency’s client portfolio, with brands from health and beauty, homecare, personal care and foods categories. She also had a particular focus on digital consultancy and other channels to form the end-to-end customer journey.
Tang’s appointment marks a return to the agency where she started her career in 1995, as an account director. She then had spells at DP&A, Miller Bainbridge, Liquid and the Talent Business before joining TMW in 2010.
She has been briefed to strengthen Havas EHS’ existing client relationships across the agency; she will also sit on the management team.
Tang succeeds Buist (pictured, middle), who has taken on the role of associate global brand director for Unilever. Having joined Havas EHS in 2011 from Profero, he will be in charge of the day-to-day leadership of Dove activity, with a primary focus on building the Unilever business – a key objective for the agency.
Havas EHS group chief operating officer and global brand director Matt Fanshawe (pictured, far left) commented: “2014 has been a stand-out year for us and this has been supported by our ongoing acquisition of some of the industry’s best talent. I am very excited to welcome Liz into the fold. During her tenure at TMW Liz has overseen great growth and change and I am certain that, with her expertise, she will continue this successful work at Havas EHS.
“In addition, Andy’s new role will further enhance our close relationship with Unilever and its associated brands – an important part of our business. At Havas EHS, we are committed to providing our clients with innovative, high-quality service; Liz and Andy’s new roles will help us achieve this.”
