Rapp Media has strengthened the agency’s strategy team by appointing MediaCom London’s associate planning director Petia Nedeltcheva as a media strategist.
Since graduating from Bournemouth University in 2005, Nedeltcheva has worked in a number of media shops, starting her career at Starcom MediaVest Group, where she stayed for five years.
She then had a spell at Carat before moving to Australia to be strategy director at Mindshare in Sydney. She has been working at MediaCom since last year.
Nedeltcheva’s appointment will boost Rapp’s communications planning capabilities to further complement the agency’s data-driven offering.
She will report directly to Paul Phillips, Rapp’s head of media strategy. He joined the agency from M/Six in April 2012 as media strategist and was promoted to head of media strategy in April 2013.
In her new role, Nedeltcheva will be responsible for delivering media strategies that drive acquisition, response and awareness across online and offline channels, for all Rapp Media clients, including TUI Specialist Holidays Group brands, as well as Open University and Allergan. She will also work on Rapp UK integrated clients such as Guide Dogs, AkzoNobel (Dulux) and Google alongside Rapp’s creative and data agencies.
Rapp Media managing director Ian Maynard said: “Petia has extensive experience in communications planning across all channels for big global brands. This complements our ability to use data within our media strategies to understand exactly which experiences influence the customer at every touchpoint along the purchase journey.”
The agency has also appointed Freya Broaders as junior client strategist. She joins following three-and-a-half years at out of home media specialist Kinetic.
