Heck sausages, the brand launched by husband and wife team Debbie and Andrew Keeble, has appointed Partners Andrews Aldridge to put some sizzle into its marketing.
The five-strong Heck range features chicken, chorizo, pork and apple, bratwurtz and farmhouse breakfast. It has already secured placement in Tesco and Asda, and will be sold in Waitrose stores from this month.
The brand was designed by Elmwood, the agency behind The Saucy Fish Co, as well as the couple’s original brand, Debbie & Andrew.
Partners scooped the account following a competitive pitch, and has been briefed to devise a digital and social media campaign, linked to advertising and experiential activity. The agency’s work will aim to attract younger customers to the brand under the premise of “What the Heck?”.
Co-founder Jamie Keeble, one of the couple’s sons, said: “We’re a young team, ambitious for success and most of all, we believe in our product. Heck’s language is in its name, it’s who we are, and it’s what we do – making people stop and think – what the Heck?
“In Partners we’ve found the right agency with the perfect attitude, capable of producing a stellar campaign with provocative ideas that will make us stand out from our competitors.”
Partners managing partner Paul Vallois added: “Heck is a fantastic, entrepreneurial company with a distinct challenger-brand mentality. They are experimental, risk-taking and unconventional – eager to grab the market share the product deserves. This is a great opportunity to make them a staple of the nation’s households.”
